In this episode, Olle Isaksson, Director Global Partnering & Ecosystems at Ericsson, will share his perspective on the impact of the pandemic on digitalisation and on the developments of connectivity technologies, focusing on the 5G development and current practical use cases in public and private company networks.
The interview will be complemented by the reflections of Toyota Material Handling’s Director of Innovation Hans Larsson on the impact of this technology in the world of logistics.
Logiconomi Forums are normally biennial events that provide a key meeting opportunity for logistics professionals to hear from industry leaders, presenting key trends and technologies. They also allow for discussion and workshops on key topics. They typically host over 500 delegates and are held in different locations across Europe, conducted in English.
The first Logiconomi Forum was held at Toyota Material Handling’s factory and HQ in Mjölby, Sweden. It provided delegates with the opportunity to visit the company’s research and development centre and gain valuable insights through presentations from Volvo Venture Capital, leading robotics expert Randall van Poelvoorde and futurist Dr. Patrick Dixon.
Two more events followed. The 2019 Logiconomi Forum took place at SugarCity, Amsterdam and the 2022 edition in Handelsbeurs, right in the centre of Antwerp, and at Logiville, a logistics innovation centre close to the city.
